Careel Bay Tennis Club offers five high-quality synthetic grass courts, all equipped with LED lighting for a great playing experience day or night.
The courts are professionally maintained and ideal for players of all levels. Within the fenced club grounds, you'll also find a children’s playground — making it a family-friendly destination.
The clubhouse includes modern bathrooms and showers, an ambulant-accessible bathroom, and a small kitchen facility, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for all visitors. Whether you're playing socially or competitively, the club provides a welcoming, well-equipped tennis environment that's easy to book online.
The facility is Council owned and leased by Careel Bay Tennis Club as the operator. The courts are available to the public to hire and you may book online via this website.
Opening Hours: Courts are available for hire every day from 7am to 10pm.
Casual Booking Rates
Daytime: $22 per hour
(Daytime is 7am–7pm Summer; 7am–5pm Winter)
Night time: $25 per hour
(Night time is 7pm–10pm Summer, 5pm-10pm Winter)

If you have any problems booking a court please contact our Court Booking Manager.
The courts are booked out for use by the Club during weekend afternoons but if the courts are not being fully used by members then the public may hire courts by dropping in to the club or phoning 99184812.

Taking the bus? A bus stop is conveniently located directly across Barrenjoey Road, with the entrance opposite Whale Beach Road, making it easy to reach us from surrounding suburbs.

Pro Shop
The Careel Bay Tennis Club Pro Shop is open weekdays from 7am until early evening, and on Saturday mornings. New racquets and balls are available for purchase and some racquets are also available for hire. You may also find second-hand racquets and balls in the clubhouse for casual use — we kindly ask that these be returned after play.
